Hello Operation Flourish Fam!

Mental health isn’t just about “fixing” problems. It is about building awareness, compassion, and resilience every day. The #ChooseHealth pillar of Mindful Mental Health invites us to tend to our inner lives with care.

From Stigma to Support

For too long, stigma has silenced conversations about mental health. But openness saves lives. When we talk honestly about mental well-being, we chip away at shame and create safe spaces for others.

How to Practice Mindful Mental Health

  • Check in with yourself daily: “How am I really feeling?”

  • Use healthy coping tools: journaling, prayer, meditation, or therapy.

  • Reach out sooner: don’t wait for crisis to seek support.

  • Support others: a listening ear can mean everything.

Mindful mental health is about building habits that help us flourish and reminding ourselves and others: it’s okay to not be okay.

Cheerfully yours,

Kayla Myers
